The Pinnacles
The fascinating Pinnacles are situated within Nambung National Park, near the town of Cervantes, Western Australia. How the limestone formations came about is still being debated with three proposed theories. I’m not much of a scientist so please visit parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au to find out more. What I can say, is that the beautiful tourist attraction is great to photograph. I was able to drive my car on a designated road through the park and stop when necessary to take snaps. I did hear that it is best to take photographs early morning or at sunset, as the light brings out the colours and extends shadows, bringing out the pinnacles features. Unfortunately I learnt this when I arrived there at 1pm. I still had a lovely time and will return to that park in the future.
